For thousands of years, there have been those who “worry about tomorrow” (Matt. 6:34). This is not anything new. Even when Jesus tells us, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things,” we still…well…we still worry.
Here are some things to keep in mind. No matter what happens tomorrow: God still loves you (John 3:16). Jesus still loves you (John 15:13). God is still on His throne (Rev. 19:6). God still has not forsaken you (Heb. 13:5). God is still going to watch over you (1 Pet. 3:12). God is still going to hear and answer your prayers (1 John 5:14-15). God is still going to take care of you (Matt. 6:25-34). Heaven has not moved (2 Cor. 5:1). The path to heaven is still the same (Heb. 5:9). Your reservation in heaven, as a faithful child of God, is still being held by the power of God (1 Pet. 1:3-5). You still have a God-given purpose (Matt. 5:13-16; 28:19-20; Eph. 2:10).
No matter what happens tomorrow, put your trust in God and keep serving Him (Acts 27:22-25).
