Do you know that guy who nearly ran into you this morning while texting and driving? Do you know what he has in common with the lady who is teaching your children at school? Do you know 
what she has in common with the guy who took your money at lunch today? Do you know what he has in common with the lady who answered your call at the service department today? Do you know what she has in common with the gentlemen who held open the door for you?
Common factor #1: You interacted, in some way, with each and every one of them today. Common factor #2: Each of them has a soul given to them by God. Common factor #3: Each of their souls will spend an eternity in heaven or in hell. Common factor #4: You had an opportunity to influence them for Christ, in some way, while the rest of us did not.
In the day-to-day rush of our lives, we must not lose sight of the lost souls around us! In eternity, what will they have in common with us? Or, what will we have in common with them?
