In your imagination, picture the face of Jesus. What expression was on His face as the devil was tempting Him? What expression was on His face when His own brothers wanted nothing to do with Him? What expression was on His face as He turned over the tables in the temple? What expression was on His face when He saw Mary and Martha weeping over the death of Lazarus? 
What expression was on His face when He turned and looked at Peter after the third denial? What expression was on His face when He appeared to Mary after His resurrection?
In our imaginations, we can see His face on all of these occasions (and more). Now, in your imagination, what will it be like when we are in heaven and we “see His face” (Rev. 22:4)? What expression will He have on His face when He sees you in heaven? A member walked out after this was mentioned in a sermon and said one word, “Smiling! He’s going to be smiling!”
Are you ready to see Jesus smile at you in heaven? Do you think He’s smiling at us now?
