Let's Go Back to the Bible

All Christians had better be “people persons”

Are you a “people person”? Some people are, and some are not. But, as you might expect, I’d like to consider this from another angle.

One way to look at this is to realize that all of us rely on people every day of our lives. We rely on the people who grow our food. We rely on the people who deliver, sort and sell our food. We rely on the people who operate the water and power plants. We rely on the people who manufacturer materials for our homes, vehicles, clothes and daily necessities. While someone may not identify as a “people person,” where would we be without “people”?

Now, let me ask this: are there any people who rely on you? Maybe not for goods or services, because they could get them other “people.” But, how many people are relying on you (perhaps unknowingly) to share the good news of Jesus and help them get to heaven? Brethren, we’d better all be “people persons”! The Great Commission of our Savior demands it!
