It is a fairly common procedure today to pass a probe into the heart to check for blockages, irregularities or other issues. But, long before this was ever a medical procedure, God was already performing these exams. But He uses different 
tools.
Shortly after Solomon became King of Israel, the Lord appeared to him and said, “Ask! What shall I give you?” (1 Kgs. 3:5). Wow! What a question! Now there’s a probe that God sent deep down into the heart of Solomon! What would God find? The results of the heart test would be known as soon as Solomon responded.
What if God asked you the same question? What if God offered to give you whatever you desired? How would you answer His question? The real test is whether we see life through our own eyes or through God’s eyes. Are we more interested in fulfilling our own desires, or do we find greater pleasure in fulfilling God’s desires? What would God’s probe find in your heart?
