Every moment of every day (from the moment we wake up to the time we pillow our heads) should be viewed by every Christian as a great day! Not simply that it is “going to be” a great day, but that it “is” (right now) a great day! What’s so great about every moment of every day?
I’m a Christian! I’m saved by the blood of Jesus! God loves me! Jesus loves me! I have a Bible with God’s Word in it! I get to read my Bible! I get to talk to God! I have a church family, near and far! I’m alive! I have purpose! I get to serve the Lord! I have the saving power of the gospel in my possession! I have opportunities to make a positive difference in every person’s life! I have more blessings than I can count, even when I don’t realize it! I get to experience the wonderful creation of God all around me! God has been so good to me! God is watching over me and He is always with me! God has a place for me here and an eternal place for me there!
Yes, today is a great day! Every day is a great day! God, please help me to remember that!
