When a new year arrives, it is often greeted with great anticipation of new opportunities that will be presented. What “new opportunities” would you like to see in the new year? What “new opportunities” would just make your day if they came your way?
May I challenge every child of God to enter the new year looking for new opportunities FOR THE LORD! Instead of new opportunities FOR ME, what is there that I can do for the Lord this year? Opportunities abound in lost souls around us. Do we take those opportunities seriously? Opportunities abound in our church family. Do we take those opportunities seriously?
No doubt there will be new opportunities in your workplace this year, new opportunities in your hobbies, new opportunities in your recreation and in your friendships. However, which opportunities that come your way this year will make an ETERNAL difference—in your life and in the lives of others? We are here FOR HIM (Eph. 2:10)! Let’s remember that!
