I don’t know about you, but there is nothing I’d love more right now than the vaccine! Things would be so much better for everyone! It is the only way right now to bring about peace—collective peace for everyone and personal peace for me! Truly, without the vaccine, I am missing out on the best time of my life! I am separated from the best people on earth! I am cut off from all the greatest blessings of life! I just really need that vaccine!
Our personal attention and that of an entire nation (let alone, an entire world) have been laser-focused on the need and availability of a vaccine for COVID-19. However, the first paragraph was not written about a vaccine for the coronavirus but about THE VACCINE for sin! Reread that first paragraph. THE VACCINE that I need, you need, we all need so desperately is the gospel of Jesus Christ! It alone can bring about true peace (Rom. 10:15), give me an abundant life (John 10:10), reconcile me to the greatest people on earth (Acts 2:47; 1 Pet. 2:9-11) and provide me with all spiritual blessings (Eph. 1:3). IT is the vaccine we ALL need!
