Let's Go Back to the Bible

He loves me, this I know

As a parent, I want the very, very best for my children. We raised them to think critically, to weigh options, to pray about decisions and make Biblically-sound choices. But when life throws curveballs at them, my greatest desire is to jump in and solve everything for them. But, that would not help them to truly grow. Being there for them? Absolutely! Helping them? Yes! Offering guidance and assistance? Of course! But, true wisdom comes through experience.

Think about God—your Father. Do you not think that He wants the very, very best for His children? Do you not suppose that He wants to jump in, every time life throws us curveballs, and solve everything for us? Of course, He does! He knows, He sees, He cares. Yet, He longs for us to grow in wisdom, trust, patience, devotion and love. Will He help us? Read Psalm 46:1. Will He be there for us? Read Joshua 1:5, 9. Will He give us guidance? Read Psalm 119:105. When we experience life—and grow through it—remember He loves you!
