Let's Go Back to the Bible

Don’t starve yourself to death!

How many Christians have a daily check-list that might look like this?

Walk for thirty minutes:  Check!

Stay under calorie limit:  Check!

Drink eight glasses of water:  Check!

Take vitamins and supplements:  Check!

Eat sufficient portions of fruits and vegetables:  Check!

Brush teeth three times:  Check!

Read and study the Bible for 20-30 minutes:  Uh, no.  I’ll do it tomorrow.

Pray at least once but twice is better:  Uh, not today.  I’ll try harder.

We pay close attention (many of us) to our physical health, and for good reason.  But, how closely do we monitor our spiritual health?  Starvation diets don’t work for either!
