So many of us complain that we don’t have time to do the things that we really need to do or really want to do. We wish that we could have more than 24 hours in a day or more than 7 days in a week. Well, guess what? God has given you a whole extra day this year!
Today is February 29. Today is your “bonus” day for this year. You will have to wait 1,460 more days to get another one. What will you do with it? Will it be just like every other day, will it be an unusual day, or could it be a start to a refreshing routine for each and every day?
What if you used your extra day to…talk to one more person about Jesus…reach out to one more person who is struggling…call one more widow on the phone…write one more card to encourage a fellow Christian…post one more uplifting message on social media, etc.? You have an extra 24 hours this year! Will you use it for you? Or will you use it for the Lord and the good of others? REALLY, isn’t that the question we should ask about the other 365, too?
