There are all kinds of people in this world! Let me ask you, “What kind are you?” Specifically, what kind of neighbor are you? What kind of employee are you? What kind of citizen are you? What kind 
of customer are you? What kind of sports fan are you? What kind of student are you? What kind of boss are you? What kind of friend are you? What kind of husband/wife/ father/mother/son/daughter/sibling are you? What kind of church member are you?
Jesus said, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). When someone sees you (in your various roles and responsibilities), who do they see? Do they see someone who is bitter, heartless, thankless, self-centered, rude, arrogant, foul-mouthed or worldly-minded? Or, do they see Jesus? They looked at Jesus and saw the Father! Who do people see in you?
Read through those questions in the first paragraph again. Does someone encounter Jesus when they encounter you? Would it surprise them to find out you are a follower of Jesus?
