Let's Go Back to the Bible

Remember your Creator now, and please don’t forget!

The wise man Solomon warned about “difficult days” (NKJV), “evil days” (NASB) and “days of trouble” (NIV) in the closing verses of Ecclesiastes. Life has a way of flipping everything upside down, shaking everything really hard and then doing the Hulk-to-Loki smash until our world is completely spinning. The Bible doesn’t say that those days “could” come but that they are going to “come,” and not just come but “draw near” to you. So, how can you be ready?

Solomon makes it very clear — “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth” (Ecc. 12:1). I like how the NKJV has the word “now.” Looking to your Creator, putting your trust firmly in your Creator, building an unshakeable bond with your Creator, entering an intimate relationship with your Creator by obeying your Creator is something that you need to do NOW! It cannot wait! It requires our full attention and our full effort…NOW!

How old are you? Better yet, how young are you? The only way to be ready for those evil days coming is to establish and fortify your relationship with God NOW! He will help you through!
