Let's Go Back to the Bible

Just ignore them—everybody else does

Our society has influenced our way of thinking so much that we probably don’t even pause long enough to realize it.  For centuries in this country (and much longer when you consider the entire globe), we have divided people into classes.  And, “If you’re not in my class, then I won’t associate with you, speak with you or even, to some extent or another, acknowledge that you exist.”  But, the reality is, that as a human being, I am not superior or inferior to anyone else!

When was the last time you spoke politely and with genuine interest and warmth to the lady or gentleman who was cleaning a restroom you were entering, or to the fellow who was emptying the garbage cans in the shopping center, or to the worker in the drive-up window of the toll booth or fast-food restaurant, or to the clerk behind the counter at the convenience store?

Someone may think, “Well, they have feelings, too!”  And, that’s true!  More importantly, everyone has a soul!  If they can see Christ in you, it may open the door for the gospel.
