Let's Go Back to the Bible

God’s emergency vehicle

If you ever need help, the police will come in their law enforcement cruisers, the paramedics will come in their ambulances and your family will come on plane, train, bike or car to see to your needs.  Ever wonder what God’s “ride” looks like?

In Moses’ final address to the children of Israel before he died, the man, to whom “the Lord spoke…face to face, as a man speaks to his friend,” making the skin of Moses’ face shine while he talked with God (Ex. 33:11; 34:29), blessed the people with these words: “There is no one like the God of Jeshurun [Israel], Who rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds” (Deut. 33:26).

A jet can cross the heavens at Mach 3 and the space shuttle can reach 17,000 MPH on re-entry, but God is not limited by parts, engineering or human endurance.  Whenever you’re in need, God rides the heavens to help!  There truly is no one like God!
