When catastrophe strikes, where is God? When the unexpected happens, where is God? When your world has been upended, turned upside 
down and then shaken really hard, where is God? We have been trained by our society to look for someone to blame when bag things happen, and so God is often the object of unfounded censure and criticism in hard times.
But, would you take a moment to read these verses? “The Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God” (Deut. 7:9). “God is faithful” (1 Cor. 1:9). “God is faithful” (1 Cor. 10:13). “God is faithful” (2 Cor. 1:18). “He who calls you is faithful” (1 Thess. 5:24). “The Lord is faithful” (2 Thess. 3:3). “He remains faithful” (2 Tim. 2:13). “He who promised is faithful” (Heb. 10:23). “He is faithful” (1 John 1:9). Our Lord is our “faithful High Priest” (Heb. 2:17) and “faithful Creator” (1 Pet. 4:19). He is “called Faithful and True” (Rev. 19:11).
Where is God? “He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you'” (Heb. 13:5). He is right where He promised to be–WITH YOU! He is FAITHFUL!
