Let's Go Back to the Bible

A Team Effort—One of the Joys of Christianity!

What a fantastic lectureship!  There are many reasons to be thankful and excited about the lectureship that we just hosted at PBL, including the great speakers and the great lessons each attendee heard from the Word of God.  Specifically, I want to recognize that this lectureship was a great success because of the many members who worked in various capacities before and during the weekend.  Over 100 PBL members teamed up to make this lectureship one of the best ever!

Thank you to all those who taught the children’s classes and were helpers: Micky Affron, Casey Byerly, Kane & Fran Campbell, Trish Clark, Sandy Colage, Brenda Collier, Jackie Creary, Amy Erickson, Loni Fuller, Barbara King, Lindsey McPherson, Lorena Pittman, Jackie Price & Traci Sproule!

Thank  you to all those who were committee leaders and volunteered in the committees: Tom and Rose Martens and all those who helped with greeting and registration; Novel Brown and all men who served as ushers; Mike Archer and all those who introduced our speakers in each session; Mike Barnes and all those who helped to setup tables, chairs, signs, etc.; Ruth and Cheryl Milton and all those who assisted in the Media Center; Buzz Nelson and all the men who operated the audio/video systems; Dirk Summerlot and all those who masterfully prepared the corn and pork; Linda Studer and everyone who worked in the kitchen, preparing food, setting up and cleaning up for the Corn Roast, and many, many others!

Thank you to all those who kept our lectureship speakers and guests in their homes: Mike & Jean Archer, Chuck & Trish Clark, Scott & Linda Studer, and Melinda Price!  Thank you also to those who made airport runs and provided transportation!

A special thanks to Linda Studer for all she did in making sure the Corn Roast was perfect, to Jeff Goodale for finding the corn when there wasn’t any available, and to Giselle Smith for jumping so quickly on duplicating the recordings.  Of course, without all the work that Lindsey McPherson did in the weeks before (and even now after), the lectureship would not have run as smoothly as it did.

Thank you to all 100+ of you who shared one of the great joys of Christianity—working together for the Lord!
